Negotiate a Debt Settlement

is debt negotiation the same as bankruptcy? how are they different from each other?

1. no... debt negotiation is when someone tries to talk with the people you owe money to and get them to settle for less. Bankruptcy is when you go through the legal process of getting rid of much of your debt. not all debt can be discharged in a BK... BK's are now much harder to do then they used to be.
